The Polisher plays a crucial role in achieving the strategic objectives of the service center—ensuring excellence in delivery lead times, repair quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
The Polisher is responsible for restoring the aesthetic integrity of watch cases, bracelets, and other external components to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Precision, consistency, and respect for the brand’s heritage are essential to success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Polishing & Finishing
Perform polishing-related activities including sanding, satin finishing, mirror finishing, laser repair, rhodium removal and treatment, and cleaning, following predefined instructions and brand standards.
Achieve and maintain the required polishing level (P040), including the finishing of classic, Royal Oak, and Code 11.59 watch cases.
Inspect all components before and after polishing to ensure quality and structural integrity.
Handle all materials and components with the utmost care to preserve original geometry and surface definition.
Teamwork & Collaboration
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the workshop, sharing information relevant to workflow and repair coordination.
Support the service center as needed—perform alternate craft work as capable, assist administrative teams with workflow management, and contribute to special projects.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace that supports optimal team performance.
Workshop Maintenance & Safety
Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
Manage inventory and ordering of consumables for the polishing workshop.
Report any damaged, unsafe, or worn tools, and identify gaps in workshop infrastructure.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and promote a culture of responsibility and precision within the workshop.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a production or repair polisher, jeweler, or silversmith, with hands-on experience in all aspects of metal finishing.
Proven proficiency in polishing techniques for luxury watch components, including satin, brushed, and mirror finishes.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a structured, high-volume service environment while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
